Senior housing provider Providence Place Retirement Community has implemented Yardi Voyager� Senior Housing.
SANTA BARBARA, CALIF., May 19, 2010 – Senior housing provider Providence Place Retirement Community has implemented Yardi Voyager™ Senior Housing, a fully integrated solution that combines a complete general ledger accounting package with marketing, clinical assessments, care management, and resident billing.
In early 2009, Providence Place needed to replace the redundant, paper-intensive process of recording marketing and resident data in separate systems. Acquiring a fully integrated, user-friendly community operations software system capable of producing accurate, real-time reports became a priority.
The company initially learned of Yardi Voyager’s capabilities in May 2009 at the Assisted Living Federation of America Conference & Expo in Philadelphia. Later that year, after evaluating seven responses to a request for proposal, Providence Place selected Yardi Voyager.
Providence Place’s implementation of Yardi Voyager took approximately two months, concluding in February 2010.
“The implementation was rapid and smooth, and our marketing and billing systems now work together seamlessly. All resident information, from initial contact with a prospect to care and billing, is centralized,” said Jesse Achenbach, president of Providence Place. “When we used separate systems, five people had to prepare and run various reports; now, one person can do the job by pressing a few keys. Voyager presents our financial performance and resident information on a dashboard; we couldn’t ask for a better snapshot.”
