Yardi Investment Accounting simplifies management of complex investment structures by establishing a hierarchy of levels for the different types of investments in your portfolio. Using these levels and the entity relationships you create within them, the value of your investments can be easily distributed across multiple entities, or ownership structures, in compliance with your legal and/or tax requirements.
Yardi Investment Accounting performs three key functions:
Equity Rollups - General ledger account information is rolled up from entity to entity across multiple investment levels.
Allocations - Funds are allocated from one entity to another, through multiple investment levels. Contributions are allocated down the hierarchy and distributions are allocated up the hierarchy.
Reporting - A variety of standard reports covering investment accounting and performance are provided.
